What we collect
Before It Opens provides a project inquiry form, processed by Web3Forms as described below. The site also loads Google Analytics to measure website usage. Inquiry field contents are not sent to analytics.
Server logs
Like effectively every website, the server that delivers these pages may keep standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operational purposes. We use them for nothing beyond that.
If you email the editors, we will have your email address and whatever you wrote, and we will use them to reply. Stories shared with us are anonymized and composited before they inform any published piece, as described on our about page. If you ask us to delete a correspondence, we will.
External links
Articles link out to external sites: government agencies, industry bodies, and occasionally suppliers. Those sites have their own privacy practices; this policy stops at our edge.
Changes
If our practices change, this page will be updated and dated.
